Forgiveness poem about emotional wounds forgiveness and emotional healing — learning to let go of pain and reclaim your peace.
Forgiveness poem about emotional wounds - I wrote this poem to remind myself that forgiveness isn’t always for them — sometimes, it’s the key that unlocks your own peace.
Not every wound comes from hands that care, Some strike and leave, unaware of the tear.
A careless word, a thoughtless slight, Shadows fall though they walk in light.
The heart bears bruises, silent and deep, From those who sow and never reap.
They may not know the pain they give Or perhaps they do and still they live.
But holding the hurt, like stones in the soul, Won't mend the cracks, won't make you whole.
Forgiveness isn't for their sake alone It's the key to free you, to make you your own.
So let go of the burden, the weight of the past, Release the hurt, find peace at last.
For though they may never truly see, In your forgiveness, you set yourself free.
